McLane Evans, J.D., PMP, specializes in representing public and private clients in environmental, land use and public infrastructure matters. Prior to joining EFG, McLane served as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Tampa, where she provided strategic environmental and utility counsel, including supporting environmental and utility litigation; negotiating permitting and enforcement actions with regulatory agencies; drafting contracts, resolutions, and ordinances; conducting risk assessments; and delivering comprehensive legal services to the City’s water, wastewater, solid waste and environmental program management, stormwater, and sustainability and resiliency initiatives.
Prior to becoming an attorney, McLane worked as an environmental consultant specializing in project management, strategic planning and technical permitting efforts for complex, large-scale land and water resource projects throughout Florida and the southeastern US. In that regard, McLane provided the highest level of professional services to a diverse client base from the public and private sector markets including private landowners, local and national developers, mining and energy companies, and government agencies. This extensive technical professional experience provides her with a unique perspective on navigating complex legal issues and achieving successful outcomes.
